Chris Brown Involved in Backstage Verbal Altercation at Lovers & Friends Festival

Chris Brown was involved in a verbal altercation backstage at the Lovers & Friends Festival less than 24 hours after reportedly scuffling with Usher.

During Missy Elliott’s festival set in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday (May 6), a fan captured a backstage fight. In the video, the “Run It” singer can be seen confronting several men who seem to be bodyguards, while his crew tries to prevent the situation from escalating further

Most recently, Breezy and his crew have been accused of assaulting Usher at a roller rink party; however, the details of what exactly happened are still unclear. The alleged assault broke on Saturday (May 6). And while the details of the alleged assault were initially unclear, TMZ eventually reported that there was a fight between the two artists.

In the video posted by the outlet, both artists were at the Skate City roller rink in Las Vegas, NV, with their respective crews. When Brown started trying to talk to Teyana Taylor — who was there with Usher — Taylor turned her head and refused to chat him up. This rejection made the “Run It” singer super angry, and he began yelling at the actress (and Iman Shumpert’s wife).

Then Usher stepped in to attempt to defuse the situation. And while the video doesn’t make clear what happened next, the “Let It Burn” singer reportedly came back a short time later with a bloody nose, prompting rumors that he’d been jumped by Chris Brown and his crew.
