Cordae and tennis star Naomi Osaka have welcomed their newborn baby girl into the world.
Cordae and Naomi Osaka have officially become parents after four-time Grand Slam champion gave birth to their daughter in Los Angeles. A source close to the couple has shared that both parents and their baby girl are in good health and doing well.
According to TMZ, it has been reported that Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae revealed that he is becoming a father during a recent concert in Calgary.
Osaka and Cordae have chosen to keep the details of their child’s birth date and name private for now. “We have been discussing names. I would say that we are going for something more unique than traditional,” Osaka said earlier this year.
In January, Naomi Osaka made her pregnancy public. She also announced that she would be taking a break from her tennis career for 2023. However, she reassured her fans that her goal was to return to the tennis court and participate in the Australian Open in 2024.
“The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” Osaka wrote on social media at the time.
“These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game l’ve dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom’ haha.”
She continued: “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’II be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
