Drake has been crowned Hip Hop’s 2023 MVP by Spotify’s RapCaviar.

Even though it’s only August, Drake will be receiving the title of Hip Hop’s 2023 MVP, surpassing competitors like Metro Boomin, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and others. It seems this award is based on fan votes.

“The people have spoken. 2023’s #AllRapCaviar MVP is Drake,” RapCaviar‘s Instagram captioned a post on Monday, July 31st.

Destroy Lonely was also crowned as Rookie of the Year, while 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, and Lil Baby secured their positions on the All-RapCaviar First Team.

Despite not releasing an album in 2023 yet, which is anticipated to change soon with “For All The Dogs” on the way, Drake has remained active by providing support, such as making a striking appearance on Travis Scott’s “UTOPIA” album.

The 6 God also showcased his lyrical skills in a freestyle session during his visit to On The Radar Radio, where he engaged in a lyrical exchange with Central Cee last month.

RapCaviar had a conversation with Kevin Durant, the NBA superstar, where he showered Drake with praise. Durant mentioned that he would choose the 6 God (Drake) over Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. Even in his Top 5 greatest rappers, Kevin Durant ranked Drake first, followed by JAY-Z, Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, and Scarface.
