Ice Spice Explains Why She Rejected ‘XXL’ Freshman List

Ice Spice has explained why she didn’t appear on XXL’s Freshman 2023 list.

According to TMZ, Ice Spice had to pull out of the project despite being thrilled with the idea. The rapper allegedly rejected a spot on the annual magazine cover because she’s been “blitzed with festival bookings and feature requests.”

The sources claimed her busy schedule made it difficult to lock her in for Freshman requirements.

The list, which was revealedd on Wednesday (June 21), features rising stars like Luh Tyler, Finesse2Tymes, GloRilla, Lola Brooke, and more.
