J. Cole Celebrating 10th Anniversary of ‘Born Sinner’ With Limited Edition Vinyl

J. Cole will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of his second album, Born Sinner, with limited edition vinyls for fans to purchase.

On Monday (May 15), Dreamville, J. Cole’s Record Label revealed exclusive Gold Vinyl for purchase on Instagram to let fans know where to purchase the collector’s item.

“Born Sinner turns 10 next month!,” the caption reads. “@realcoleworld [Purple devil emoji] in celebration we’re releasing a gold deluxe vinyl edition available for preorder now!”

Many fans expressed their excitement for the gold vinyl in the comments section, with some expressing disbelief that it has already been 10 years and others claiming that the Born Sinner vinyl may be the first record they ever buy.

In 2013, Born Sinner, was released, birthed fan-favorite records such as “Power Trip” ft. Miguel, “Runaway,” and “Forbidden Fruit” ft. Kendrick Lamar.

In other J. Cole news, he and Lil Durk have been working on new music together. Durk admitted J. Cole ‘smoked his ass’ on his new single “All My Life” that dropped on Friday (May 12), and says “barely happens” to him.

During an interview with Complex at his release party on Thursday (May 11), the OTF the boss discussed the new project and admitted that Cole smoked him on his own song.

“He smoked my ass on that one, for one — barely,” Smurk said when asked about his experience working with the Dreamville don. “That barely happens. But shout out to J. Cole, shout out to [Dr.] Luke, we made it happen.”

The lead song off Lil Durk’s new album, Almost Healed, which is scheduled to be released on May 26, is “All My Life,” which was produced by pop hitmaker Dr. Luke. Additionally, it is Durk and Cole’s first time working together.
