Nicki Minaj has shown incredible kindness by offering assistance with future tuition expenses for a 14-year-old teenager from Chicago. The teenager and his mother, Carlishia Hood, were arrested after a tragic shooting incident.

A video that recently appeared online showed an intense altercation involving Carlishia Hood and a man named Jeremy Brown. The situation escalated, and during the chaos, Hood’s teenage son, in an attempt to defend his mother, tragically shot and killed Brown.

The mother and son were initially charged in relation to the death of Jeremy Brown. However, the charges against them have been dropped by the prosecutors. On Tuesday (June 27), Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram Story and publicly acknowledged the young teenager, praising him as a “hero.”

Nicki believes that the teen did “what any son would do.”

“That 14-year-old boy that backed [that] hammer out when that grown ass man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a MAN is a true hero,” she wrote. “If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help. It’s what ANY son should’ve done for their MOTHER. She raised a dope kid and should be so proud. Also, God knew [before] she knew that she’d be attacked that day and made sure they had protection on DECK. God is GOOD.”
