No Savage has been sentenced to three years in prison for firing a gun inside a Virginia Mall last year.

Fairfax County Commonwealth attorney Steve Descano settled on No Savage’s sentence on Friday (June 23). In addition to doing time, the DC rapper will be on probation for 10 years. He is also not allowed back inside Tysons Corner Center, the location of the incident.

“Today, the justice system has shown that perpetrators of gun violence will be held accountable for their actions,” Descano said. “Firing a gun into a public space is a serious crime, one that endangered our community members and threatened their future sense of safety.”

He added: “In cases like these, it is the prosecutor’s job to ensure accountability and use the tools at our disposal to prevent this sort of dangerous incident from happening again.”

No Savage, whose real name is Noah Settles, was facing a sentence of up to 33 years in prison when he pled guilty to three charges of maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied building and one count of using a firearm in commission of a felony.

The “Long Day” MC received the mandatory minimum sentence, despite the fact that the prosecution wanted to sentence Savage for 15 years.

Descano’s statement also included the following information regarding the incident: “The shooting occurred on Saturday, June 18, 2022, over Father’s Day Weekend. No one was hit by the bullets, but three people were injured during the mall’s evacuation.

“During hearings, video footage from mall surveillance cameras and bystanders’ phones shows Settles getting into a fight with another group of young people, fleeing briefly, then turning back to fire three shots by a mall kiosk.”

On June 22, 2022, four days after the event, Savage turned himself over to police.
