Offset has clarified the situation after accusing Cardi B of cheating on him in a shocking social media post that he later deleted.

During his appearance on Way Up With Angela Yee on Monday (July 31), Offset admitted to lying about the cheating accusations against his “WAP” rapper wife in the Instagram Story he posted back in June.

“We going back and forth,” he began. “And if you’ve got a New York woman, you know she’s a pitbull at the mouth. She get crazy at the mouth a little bit, and I was really lit that night. I was lit.

“I had a little Casamigos and we was going back and forth and I’m like, ‘Watch this.’ And it’s like she got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day and she crazy, man. We’re crazy for each other.”

Instead of completely clearing the air and denying that Cardi cheated, Offset chose to remove the post, feeling that it was enough to address the situation.

“The delete is enough,” he said. “At the end of the day, them people don’t be really knowing what’s really going on with us for real.”

Last month, Cardi took to Twitter Spaces to share her side of the story after the internet was flooded with speculation and rumors.

“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of,” Cardi said. “Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey! Listen, Don’t pay attention to that countryman, y’all. That motherfucker’s spiraling, and thinking shit that isn’t true.”

Offset has been candid about his past infidelity. In September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce, but later that year, the Migos rapper managed to win her back.

“When I did do that, I was in a different space,” he told Angela Yee of his former cheating ways. “I was young, I had just got married, I’m getting a lot of money. Really, it was communication.

“We had got married and our communication was good, but I wasn’t saying my wants and needs and vice versa. Sometimes you feel like you’ll bump heads when you’re not communicating … I was drunk, I was on different shit. I was on lean and shit.”

He continued: “I was making bad decisions and I was really realizing it was affecting my family instead of me thinking on my own, but all my growth, why you think she love me? All my growth, I done showed I’m not gonna do this. I’m a real one.”

On the music news, Offset recently collaborated with Cardi B on his new single titled “Jealousy,” released last week. The song is set to be featured on his upcoming solo album, scheduled to drop later this year.
