Young Thug‘s new album took everyone by surprise as it was released from jail with minimal promotion last week. However, that’s not the only surprising part of the project.

The majority of the album’s production was handled by Metro Boomin, and his longtime studio partner, Southside, who also contributed to “Business Is Business,” claims that the entire tracklist was assembled in just two weeks.

“Y’know, we move quick, we work real fast,” he said in a short LAX interview with TMZ shared on Saturday (July 1). “Shoutout to Metro. Metro the G.O.A.T.”

In addition to acknowledging Metro Boomin as the greatest, Southside also labeled “Business Is Business” as the greatest record ever produced behind bars.

When asked about whether Young Thug recorded his vocals over the phone, Southside responded, “Not really, some things were, but not all of them.” However, when pressed for further details about the recording process, he playfully replied, “We keep our secrets.”
